Turner, Forsythe return from DL for Dodgers

The Dodgers activated Justin Turner and Logan Forsythe off the disabled list prior to Tuesday's series opener against the Marlins. In corresponding moves, the club optioned infielder/catcher Kyle Farmer and infielder/outfielder Tim Locastro to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Timothy Donald Locastro...played baseball at Auburn High School in New York...played three years at Ithaca College and set school records for both runs (7 1) and stolen bases (40)...named the 2013 Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year after leading the conference in batting average (.436), doubles (T-1st, 13) and triples (6)...selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 13th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft and signed by scout Jamie Lehman.

2017

Saw his first big league action, appearing in three games with the Dodgers and going 0-for-1 with a stolen base...appeared in two games in left field...Had his contract selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sept. 29 and made his Major League debut that day against the Rockies as a pinch-runner and a defensive replacement...Split the season with Double-A Tulsa (96 games) and Triple-A Oklahoma City (31 games) posting a .308/.383/.454 slashline with 31 doubles, four triple, 10 home runs, 40 RBI and 34 stolen bases in 127 combined games...Split time between the infield and the outfield, playing in a combined 47 games in center field, 46 games at second base, 31 games at shortstop, nine games in left field and two games in right field...With Tulsa, he was selected to the Texas League Mid-Season All-Star team and finished the season among the league leaders in stolen bases (22, 5th), triples (4, T-7th), OPS (.795, 7th), on-base percentage (.366, T-9th), runs scored (69, 8th) and batting average (.285, 11th).

2016

Appeared in 131 combined games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga (86 games) and Double-A Tulsa (45 games), hitting .285 with 25 doubles, six triple, six home runs, 52 RBI, 24 stolen bases and a .341 on-base percentage...chosen by MiLB.com as a Dodgers Organizational All-Star...Appeared majority of the games in the infield, playing in 61 combined games at second base, 57 games at shortstop and three games at first base, but did see time in the outfield as well, playing six games in center field and one game in left field...Following the season, played for the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League, where he posted .303/.351/.303 slashline with five runs and six RBI in 13 games.
