Thomas Ross Stripling…attended the Dodgers' 2014 Winter Development Program…played college ball at Texas A&M...on May 12th 2012, he threw the 11th no-hitter in school history, a 1-0 victory over San Diego State...as a junior in 2011, finished the season with a 14-2 record along with a 2.29 ERA...the 14 victories not only led the country but ranked as the third highest single season win total in Texas A&M baseball history...selected as a 2011 All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings (First Team), Collegiate Baseball (Third Team) and College Baseball Insider (Honorable Mention)...selected as a third team Capital One Academic All-American and a first team Academic All-Big 12 selection...garnered first team All-Big 12 and ABCA/Rawlings All-Midwest Region Team accolades...earned a varsity letter in basketball as a forward and in football as a wide receiver for Carroll High School (Southlake, TX)…originally selected by the Rockies in the ninth round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign…selected in the fifth round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft and signed by scout Clint Bowers.

Cucamonga and Double-A Chattanooga...Opened the campaign with the Quakes, where he went 2-0 with a 2.94 ERA (11 ER/33.2 IP) in six starts...limited opponents to a .198 batting average (24-for-121) with 34 strikeouts in 33.2 innings...Promoted to Chattanooga on May 7, going 6-4 with one save in 21 games (16 starts)...in his 16 starts with the Lookouts, posted a 2.23 ERA (21 ER/84.2 IP) and a .227 opponents' batting average (72-for-317)...Named a Southern League All-Star after going 5-1 with a save and a 2.73 ERA (17 ER/56.0 IP) in 13 games (nine starts) before the All-Star Game...Selected as Dodgers Pride Award winner for the month of August after posting a 1-3 record with a 1.67 ERA (6 ER/32.1 IP), the fourth-best ERA in the Southern League.
