Dodgers reinstate Juan Uribe from DL


The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated infielder Juan Uribe from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder Miguel Rojas. Uribe missed 12 games with a right hamstring strain. 

Uribe is hitting .293 (89-for-304) with six homers and 35 RBI in 81 games this season. The native of the Dominican Republic has played 694.1 innings and made 77 starts at third base, where he owns a .973 fielding percentage in 2014. The Dodgers are 45-36 (.556) in games Uribe has appeared in this season.  

Rojas has appeared in 66 games including starts at shortstop (24), third base (nine) and second base (2). He is hitting .195 with a homer, eight RBI and three doubles this season.
