MIAMI -- Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez recorded his 2,500th career base hit Saturday night, a fifth-inning infield single against the Marlins.
Ramirez became the 91st Major Leaguer to reach the milestone. The last player to register his 2,500th hit with the Dodgers was Luis Gonzalez in 2007. All but 181 of Ramirez's hits came before his acquisition by the Dodgers at the 2008 Trade Deadline.
Ramirez also ranks 15th on MLB's all-time home run list with 546 and 19th on the RBI list with 1.791.
The Dodgers dropped Saturday's contest, 7-6.
