Outfielder Joc Pederson, the Dodgers' No. 2 prospect, became the second Minor Leaguer to hit 20 home runs and steal 20 bases this season when he connected on a solo homer on Wednesday in Triple-A Albuquerque's 8-7 victory against Fresno. He joined Nationals No. 3 prospect Michael Taylor, who reached the milestone Sunday.

Pederson, ranked No. 28 on MLBPipeline.com's Top 100 Prospects list, entered the game with 24 stolen bases and hit his 20th homer of the season in the third inning off left-hander Jose De Paula. Pederson now has had back-to-back 20-20 seasons.

Pederson finished the night 1-for-2 with two runs, two walks and a stolen base. He also was hit by a pitch.

In 86 games this season, Pederson is hitting .325/.453/.585 with 66 runs and 48 RBIs. He leads the Pacific Coast League in on-base percentage, OPS (1.039) and walks (71).

Last year at Double-A Chattanooga, Pederson hit .278/.381/.497 with 22 home runs and 31 stolen bases in 123 games. Both Pederson's home run and stolen base totals were career highs.
