DETROIT -- Carl Crawford was set to complete his Minor League rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday night.
After completing the assignment, the outfielder will fly to Los Angeles on Wednesday and could be activated as soon as Thursday.
Manager Don Mattingly didn't rule out Crawford's return for the Dodgers' final series at home before the All-Star break against San Diego.
Crawford has been on the disabled list since May 27 with a sprained left ankle. His return will again complicate the lineup, as Matt Kemp has started 37 games in left field since Crawford was injured. The Dodgers are 21-16 with Kemp in left field, and 18-17 with Crawford.
