The left-hander's defining moment was his first career no-hitter against the Rockies at Dodger Stadium on June 18, in which he struck out 15 and fell just an error short of a perfect game. It was the 22nd no-hitter in Dodgers history.
Kershaw proceeded to throw scoreless outings in his next two starts, blanking the Royals through eight innings and striking out 13 Cardinals through seven. He finished the month in the midst of a 28-innings scoreless streak that he'll carry into his Friday start against the Rockies -- the same team he no-hit -- in Colorado.
Kershaw is 9-2 on the season with a 2.04 ERA.
