KANSAS CITY -- If Yasiel Puig can hold off Pittsburgh's Andrew McCutchen, he will become the only Dodger besides Darryl Strawberry (1991) to lead the voting for the starting outfield of the National League All-Star team.
Puig has been in front for three weeks, but his most recent lead was trimmed to fewer than 5,000 votes. Matt Kemp (2011, '12) and Andre Ethier ('10) are the only other Dodgers outfielders to have started an All-Star Game since Strawberry.
Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com -- online or on a mobile device -- using the 2014 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot Sponsored by Experian until Thursday, July 3, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2014 All-Star Game will be played at Target Field on Tuesday, July 15, on FOX.
