PHOENIX -- The Dodgers on Tuesday announced their 2010 promotional calendar, which includes four Bobblehead Nights, three action-figure giveaways, eight poster giveaways and an expanded Viva Los Dodgers lineup. The four Bobbleheads will feature Andre Ethier on May 18, Jonathan Broxton on June 8, James Loney on July 20 and Matt Kemp on Aug. 17. Bobbleheads are available to the first 50,000 fans in attendance. The action-figure giveaways will feature the three outfielders expected to start: Kemp on June 3, Ethier on July 8 and Manny Ramirez on July 22, the one-year anniversary of his pinch-hit grand slam on his Bobblehead Night. Action figures go to the first 15,000 children in attendance.
Among those featured on the poster giveaways: corner infielders Loney and Casey Blake on June 4; pitchers Broxton, Chad Billingsley and Clayton Kershaw on July 9; the 1955 World Series championship team and Vin Scully on July 23; Kemp on Aug. 6, Ethier on Aug. 20 and Ramirez on Sept. 17. Posters will be given to the first 20,000 fans in attendance. There will be 12 Viva Los Dodgers Days (April 18, May 2, May 9, May 23, June 6, June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, Aug. 8, Aug. 22, Sept. 5) celebrating Hispanic culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latin-American Dodger players past and present. These pregame events will feature live music and food in a theme similar to past Viva Los Dodgers events every Sunday. On Sept. 19, the Dodgers will also bring back the long-standing tradition Viva Los Dodgers event, renamed La Gran Fiesta Viva Los Dodgers. There will be two fireworks nights -- July 5 and Sept. 3.
