MINNEAPOLIS -- Clayton Kershaw came out of his Wednesday night rehab start in good shape, according to Dodgers manager Don Mattingly, who indicated that Kershaw could return to the Major League rotation Monday night in Washington.

Mattingly said Kershaw first needs to throw a bullpen session Friday in Miami, where the Dodgers play the Marlins this weekend.

"It sounds like he came out good," Mattingly said. "We'll have him throw a 'pen and go from there."

Mattingly said, without a setback, the club most likely would start Kershaw on his regular five-day cycle and give an extra day of rest to Zack Greinke, who made his sixth start of the season on Wednesday night.

"We'll probably give Zack the extra day," Mattingly said. "I don't think it will bother him at all."

Josh Beckett, Paul Maholm and Hyun-Jin Ryu will start the three games in Miami. Kershaw's return to the rotation will result in the bumping of someone -- most likely Maholm -- to the bullpen, assuming everyone is healthy.
