Ohman -- a free agent signed the last week of Spring Training for $1.35 million and a 2010 option for $2.2 million or a $200,000 buyout -- had a truly forgettable season. He was placed on the disabled list May 28 with soreness in the acromio-clavicular joint, where the clavicle meets the shoulder blade at the top of the shoulder.
While rehabbing the shoulder, he strained the flexor tendon near his elbow. Ohman rehabbed that for three months and said he was ready to come back in late August, but the Dodgers couldn't shake loose a 40-man roster spot and he remained on the 60-day disabled list.
According to the team, Ohman had a clean-up procedure on the A/C joint. He is expected to be ready for Spring Training, although coming off surgery, his option will be bought out for $200,000 and he will be a free agent again.
Ohman pitched 12 1/3 innings over 21 games and had a 5.84 ERA with one save, but eight walks and seven strikeouts.
