Dodgers announce 2014 promotional schedule

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers announced on Friday their 2014 promotional schedule, which includes 10 bobblehead giveaways and the return of Friday Night Fireworks and Viva Los Dodgers.

The bobblehead giveaways are as follows: Clayton Kershaw on April 24 (vs. Phillies); Yasiel Puig on May 13 (vs. Marlins); Hyun-Jin Ryu on May 27 (vs. Reds); Tommy Lasorda on June 14 (vs. D-backs); Fan Vote bobblehead on June 26 (vs. Cardinals); Pee Wee Reese and Roy Campanella (Coliseum moment, 1959) on July 12 (vs. Padres); Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Dusty Baker and Reggie Smith (30 homers in same season) on July 31 (vs. Braves); Zack Greinke on Aug. 20 (vs. Padres); Magic Johnson on Sept. 2 (vs. Nationals); and Babe Ruth (first-base coach in Brooklyn, 1938) on Sept. 9 (vs. Padres).

New promotional items include: Dodgers welcome mat on April 19 (vs. D-backs); inflatable chair on May 8 (vs. Giants); Old-Timers' Game and pennant on May 10 (vs. Giants); Mother's Day clutch and postgame walk around the park on May 11 (vs. Giants); autographed baseball on June 17 (vs. Rockies); Hello Kitty item on July 10 (vs. Padres); portable speaker on July 13 (vs. Padres); Vin Scully 65th anniversary commemorative item on July 29 (vs. Braves); and headphones on Sept. 6 (vs. D-backs).

There will be two promotional items voted on by fans -- one of the 10 bobblehead giveaways and a T-shirt.

The Dodgers also announced new Mini Plan options for 2014, with tickets starting at $14 per game. A preset 15-game Mini Plan offers all promotional dates, including seven bobblehead giveaways. A 20-game Flex Plan allows fans to choose any home game dates, excluding Opening Day, and a 30-game Flex Plan allows for any 2014 home game, including Opening Day against the Giants. Mini Plan purchasers will receive access to presales for a potential 2014 Wild Card Game, National League Division Series games and NL Championship Series games.
