NLCS Game 5 at Dodger Stadium tomorrow

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers will host Game 5 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium tomorrow at 1:07 p.m. against the St. Louis Cardinals. All auto and stadium gates will open at 10:00 a.m. NLCS Game 5 is sold out. The Dodgers will offer fans free general parking during the postseason if they have four or more passengers in their car. The first 50,000 fans in attendance will receive a rally towel.

The Dodger Stadium Express will operate starting at 10:00 a.m. from Union Station to Dodger Stadium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, carpool and use the many transportation alternatives that serve Union Station that will connect them to the Dodger Stadium Express. 1988 World Series hero Orel Hershiser will throw the ceremonial first pitch. Hershiser ended the 1988 regular season by pitching 59 consecutive scoreless innings, breaking Don Drysdale's record. Hershiser led the National League that year in wins (23), innings (267) and complete games (15) and finishing 23-8 with a 2.26 ERA. He was unanimously awarded the Cy Young Award. Hershiser was the 1988 NLCS MVP after starting Games 1 and 3, saving Game 4 and pitching a shutout in Game 7. He was named the 1988 World Series MVP after winning Games 2 and 5 against the Oakland A's.

Interscope recording artist Aloe Blacc will perform the national anthem.

The Veteran of the Game tomorrow is U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Fernando Rivero of Miami, FL. Rivero serves as a Public Affairs Officer and works with the media to ensure the public is informed about its military. His duties include escorting international media into hostile combat zones. He has served deployments in Afghanistan and the Western Pacific. Rivero's accolades include the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
