LOS ANGELES -- Less than 90 minutes before the Dodgers' game against the Brewers on Tuesday night, team officials announced that second baseman Orlando Hudson would miss the game because of an upset stomach.
Juan Castro replaced Hudson in the lineup and hit eighth in the order.
Hudson is batting .292 with seven home runs and 53 RBIs this season. In 16 games since the All-Star break, Hudson is 22-for-61 (.361).
Castro has now started 22 games for the Dodgers this season -- 15 at shortstop, six at second base and one at third. Castro is batting .314 (22-for-70) in games he's started.
