Dodgers host celebrity game on Saturday

Dodgers host celeb softball game

LOS ANGELES -- On Saturday, fans at Dodger Stadium will get to watch two games for the price of one.

At 5 p.m. PT that evening -- just a little more than two hours before the Dodgers take on the Florida Marlins -- top celebrities in film, television, music and sports will take part in the 51st Annual Hollywood Stars game, presented by "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

Rob Lowe ("The West Wing," "Brothers & Sisters"); Mario Lopez ("Extra," "Saved by the Bell"); boxer "Sugar" Shane Mosley; and Antonio Gates (San Diego Chargers Pro Bowl tight end) highlight the group of more than 30 celebrities that will comprise the two softball teams.

Honorary captains Orlando Hudson and Randy Wolf will lead the two teams, so it can be assumed that some clubhouse bragging rights could hinge on the outcome of the game.

Patrick O'Neal from Fox Sports PRIME TICKET will join 790 KABC's Josh Suchon and Ken Levine as emcees for the game. The trio will announce the celebrity players as they come to bat, offering play-by-play commentary and conducting interviews throughout the game.

Fans with tickets to the Dodgers game will have the opportunity to watch the softball game from Dodger Stadium's outfield grass and warning track.
