LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers today placed outfielder Matt Kemp on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to July 6) with left AC joint inflammation and recalled outfielder Scott Van Slyke from Triple-A Albuquerque. In 27 games for the Dodgers this season, Van Slyke batted .236 with six home runs and 13 RBI, with 12 of his 17 hits going for extra bases.
