LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today a partnership with Denny's - the new presenting sponsor of Friday Night Fireworks for the 2013 season. This partnership marks the first time these two family-oriented brands have worked together.
"Baseball is the quintessential American sport, so it's only fitting that America's diner would partner up with the Los Angeles Dodgers," said Brian Tademy, senior director of field marketing for Denny's. "After the fans work up an appetite cheering on their Dodgers and enjoying the Friday Night Fireworks, we hope they'll take advantage of our great deals on delicious selections at Denny's."
Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's, a fan-favorite tradition at Dodger Stadium, takes place immediately following Friday night home games. Fans of all ages are invited to the field for Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's and each show is set to a different musical theme.
"We are excited to merge two iconic American brands with this partnership," said Dodger Executive Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships Michael Young. "Denny's is a perfect fit for the Dodgers as we continue to build upon our family-friendly offerings that include Friday Night Fireworks."
Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's kicked off on April 5 and May 26 and will continue on the following dates this season: May 10 (vs. MIA), May 24 (vs. STL), June 7 (vs. ATL), June 28 (vs. PHI), July 12 (vs. COL), July 26 (vs. CIN), August 9 (vs. TB), August 23 (vs. BOS), August 30 (vs. SD), September 13 (vs. SF) and September 27 (vs. COL).
In conjunction with Denny's sponsorship of Friday Night Fireworks, fans that attend Friday night games on June 7, July 12, August 23 and September 13 will receive a Denny's coupon good for 20% off the entire check.
