GLENDALE, Ari. -- Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was scratched from Sunday's lineup with a bruised right forearm.

Gonzalez said the rest was precautionary and he expected to play Monday. He said there was some soreness and stiffness when he flexed his wrist, but he would try to take batting practice.

Gonzalez was hit by a pitch from former San Diego teammate Jake Peavy Saturday night, but stayed in the game for another at-bat and singled.

In Sunday's game, the Dodgers will be without infielders Gonzalez, Hanley Ramirez (thumb surgery) and Juan Uribe (tight hamstrings).
