Uribe has hernia surgery, to start rehab soon
WASHINGTON -- Third baseman Juan Uribe underwent surgery to repair a left sports hernia Wednesday. The surgery was performed by Dr. Craig Smith, and Uribe will be able to start rehab within the next two weeks.

Recovery time is expected to be six to eight weeks, and it is anticipated that Uribe will be ready for Spring Training. Uribe finished the season hitting .204, with four homers and 28 RBIs.
