Mannion hired as Dodgers exec
LOS ANGELES -- Dennis Mannion was named chief operating officer of the Dodgers on Wednesday, replacing Marty Greenspun, who resigned Monday.
The 48-year-old Mannion comes to the Dodgers after eight years as senior vice president for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. He's also worked for the Philadelphia Phillies and the holding company for the NBA's Denver Nuggets and the NHL"s Colorado Avalanche.
Mannion will oversee corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, retail operations, concessions and broadcasting and coordinate the club's marketing.
