LOS ANGELES - The Justin Turner Foundation (JTF), founded by Dodger third baseman Justin Turner, announced today their Second Annual Golf Classic will take place on Monday, January 30 at the prestigious Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA.
The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. and in addition to Turner will feature current Dodger players including Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig, Adrián González, Scott Kazmir and Chase De Jong. Following the tournament, there will be a dinner hosted by Spectrum SportsNet LA's host John Hartung and the JTF will present its first annual Justin Turner Foundation Perseverance Award along with presenting its vision for the future.
The Justin Turner Foundation works closely with the LA Dream Center and their Veterans Program, which offers assistance to veterans as they make the difficult transition back into civilian life. All proceeds of the Golf Classic will go to The Dream Center Veterans Program, as well as children battling illnesses and diseases.
