Lindsey heads down as Dodgers trim camp
SURPRISE, Ariz. -- After demoting Carlos Monasterios and Wilkin De La Rosa in the morning, the Dodgers sent down six more players on Monday night, including popular first baseman John Lindsey and top shortstop prospect Dee Gordon.

Along with Lindsey (who has been slowed by a calf muscle), the club optioned Major League roster players Trayvon Robinson (who drove in two runs on Monday), Javy Guerra and Jamie Hoffman.

Along with Gordon, catcher Damaso Espino was reassigned to Minor League camp.

The moves leave the Dodgers with 50 players in camp.
