Dodgers at the plate: Olmedo Saenz had three hits, including a home run and double, and three RBIs. Starting pitcher Brett Tomko slugged a three-run homer. Jason Repko went 4-for-4, Cody Ross had a pair of doubles and eight Dodgers drove in runs.

Mets at the plate: Cliff Floyd's line drive was misplayed into a double by Repko and Floyd was singled home from third by former Dodger Paul Lo Duca. David Wright homered and Jose Reyes singled in the third run.

Dodgers on the mound: Tomko allowed three runs over five innings, one in the second after Repko misplayed a line drive into a double. Lance Carter pitched two perfect innings.

Mets on the mound: Starter Steve Trachsel allowed eight runs in four innings, including Saenz's two-run homer and double, Willy Aybar's triple and Tomko's three-run homer. Heath Bell pitched a perfect seventh.

Grapefruit League records: Mets 14-11-1; Dodgers 13-10-3.
